The Indiana Pacers have been trying to dig themselves out of an early hole that they dug to begin the 2021-22 NBA season. The Pacers opened the season 1-6, but have been getting healthier, going 4-2 since.
They still have some work to do to climb back up the standings, but they have looked much better in the last week or so with guys returning to the lineup. November 3rd was the first time their starting backcourt of Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert played together.
If things do not continue going in the right direction, there could be some changes in Indiana. They were one team that many people had an eye on during the offseason as a shake-up was expected to occur.
The only real shakeup that came was on the coaching staff. Rick Carlisle returned to the sideline after Nate Bjorkgren was fired following one season as head coach. If he is unable to get this team going, a trade could be in the future.
