Detroit Pistons
Players Available via Trade: F Josh Jackson ($5M), G Cory Joseph ($4.9M), G Frank Jackson ($3M), G Rodney McGruder ($1.9M)
Since the start of the 2009-10 season, the Detroit Pistons have made the playoffs twice, but they have not won a playoff game since 2008. This drought is only going to get longer this season, as the Pistons still have a lot of work to do in terms of rebuilding themselves into a threat.
Cade Cunningham, this year’s No. 1 overall pick, is a very promising looking young talent and Saddiq Bey is also another young player the Detroit Pistons are going to utilize on the wing for a long time to come. With experienced players like Jerami Grant and Kelly Olynyk as well, the Pistons are definitely heading in the right direction under the management of GM Troy Weaver.
Looking to gather more young talents and draft picks through the years, the Detroit Pistons are going to be looking to see what they can get at the trade deadline this season, resulting in them possibly moving guys like Josh Jackson, Cory Joseph, and maybe even guys like Frank Jackson and Rodney McGruder.

Everyone other than Cunningham and Bey could be available for the right price on this Detroit Pistons’ roster, but it does also seem likely that the team will not want to trade Jerami Grant, Killian Hayes, and/or Isaiah Stewart as of right now.
Maybe Kelly Olynyk could be a key talent they could look to move in the first year of his contract, but Josh Jackson is definitely a player that could be on the move this season. He averaged 13.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and shot 41.9% from the floor last season in Detroit, making the former No. 4 overall pick a possible bench talent for playoff teams to target.

Jackson has seemed to revitalize his career with the Detroit Pistons and being owed $5M in the final year of his contract, he is definitely a player many teams across the league could target in a trade. Whether it is being absorbed using a trade exception or being traded for some draft compensation, Josh Jackson is a player we should expect to be on the move or at least draw a significant amount of trade interest as we get closer to the trade deadline.
