Orlando Magic
Players Available via Trade: G Gary Harris ($20.4M), G Terrence Ross ($12.5M), C Robin Lopez ($5M), G Michael Carter-Williams ($3.3M)
After trading away All-Star center Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, and Evan Fournier at the trade deadline last season, the Orlando Magic enter yet another rebuilding process. For a team that has not won a playoff series since 2010, the Magic are looking to do more than just put together a winning team and they absolutely have a chance to do so with all the bright, young talents on their roster.
Cole Anthony has been fantastic in his second season so far with the Orlando Magic and with Jalen Suggs, Franz Wagner, Wendell Carter Jr., Mo Bamba, and other young, athletic talents around him, Orlando definitely has a chance to surprise many around the league both this season and next season.
Making the playoffs definitely seems out of reach for this squad during the 2021-22 season, but they could immediately jump back into play for a playoff spot next season when the likes of Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Fultz are healthy again. Who knows, maybe they can even turn things on late in the season this year and sneak into that 9-seed, 10-seed range when these two guys return!

Overall though, Orlando is rebuilding and as a result, they are looking to move on from some veteran guys like Gary Harris and Terrence Ross, as well as their unwanted contracts, if possible. Harris is going to be hard to move given his contract and injury situation over the years, but Terrence Ross has been drawing interest from playoff teams for months now.
The Orlando Magic have not come close to finalizing any trades involving the veteran wing yet, but owed just $24M over the next two seasons, and being an impactful bench player in this league, Ross is definitely someone that will be on the move ahead of the trade deadline.

Finishing with the 10th most bench points in the league last season, Terrence Ross is going to get a chance to play for a playoff-contending team and he is going to be a key scorer weapon for them. Now in his 10th season in the NBA, Ross has turned himself into a reliable scoring weapon and he should definitely be a target of teams like the Celtics, Hornets, Mavericks, Pacers, and Clippers who have trade exceptions to use or the means to free up immediate cap space to acquire him.
