The New York Knicks look like they are going to be one of the many teams making some noise in the Eastern Conference this NBA season. They have had some inconsistent performances thus far this season, but at 7-4, they are showing the strides they have made as a team.
The offense is among the best in the NBA currently, ranking third in offensive rating. Tom Thibodeau has transformed the offensive attack as the Knicks are now one of the most 3-point heavy teams in the NBA, ranking fourth in makes, 10th in attempts, and fifth in percentage. They frequent the foul line as well, which has put them in third in points per game.
Defensively, they have yet to check in, consistently. They are a step slow on some rotations and are figuring things out with more offensive-minded players being in the rotation. But, it is hard to imagine things not turning around with Thibodeau as head coach.
Given the success the team is having, Thibodeau has some tough decisions to make with his rotation. The New York Knicks go two or three deep at every position, leaving some players on the outside looking in of the rotation. One of those players is Kevin Knox II.

Knox, the No. 9 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, is as far down the depth chart as any player on the team. He failed to make an impression on the coaching staff and as a result, racks up DNP’s Coach’s Decisions regularly.
But, at 22-years old, there is still time for him to tap into his potential, it is just unlikely to come with the New York Knicks. Alas, New York isn’t going to just give him away for the sake of making a deal. If that was the case, they’d have already done it.
There are teams out there that would provide Knox a chance to get his career on track. Here are three teams who should take a gamble on a trade for the Kentucky product.
