1 Trade For Struggling Hopeful Contenders: Lakers, Hawks, Blazers

NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

There has been plenty of exciting basketball played so far this NBA season and while some teams have begun the season looking like real title threats, others have struggled to get any momentum going. Three of these teams struggling early on in the season are the Los Angeles Lakers, Atlanta Hawks, and Portland Trail Blazers.

The Los Angeles Lakers made some big moves this offseason to add the likes of Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, DeAndre Jordan, Rajon Rondo, and other key veterans, but they are just 5-5 through their first 10 games of the regular season and struggling to find their footing with LeBron James injured.

Coming off an improbable run to the Eastern Conference Finals, the Atlanta Hawks were believed to be a title contender entering this season, but recent struggles have delayed their possible success. Is this team still the team many thought they were in the playoffs last year?

And what do we make about the Portland Trail Blazers who have begun the year 5-5? Damian Lillard has really struggled at times offensively and as a whole, the Trail Blazers still have some holes to fix on their roster if they are to be real playoff threats and not just a team that loses in the first-round again.
