Would this trade make sense for the Philadelphia 76ers?

It is clear that the relationship between Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers. There is going to be a trade me in at some point but no one knows when that will be. Until then, there will be plenty of trade rumors and discussions about what is the best destination around the NBA for Simmons.

The Minnesota Timberwolves might not be the ideal landing spot for Simmons personally but they might offer one of the best returns to Philadelphia. That is all the front office should be thinking about moving forward.

D’Angelo Russell has proven to be a consistent scorer that can get it done from anywhere on the floor. This would be just another perimeter spray for Embiid to have when he faces double teams down low.

Russell has been a leader over the course of his career and has played in some big games. His shot creation ability and playmaking would be welcomed attributes along with the size he brings as a guard.

Russell has been moved around a bit in his career but Philadelphia seems like one of the best fits for his style of play. This could be a chance for both sides to gain something that could be special for years to come.
