The Denver Nuggets are looking to contend in the Western Conference while the Houston Rockets are the ultimate rebuilding NBA team. This means that they line up in different ways for each other to benefit each side.
The Nuggets finished as the third seed in the Western Conference last season and are looking to continue that success. Denver has been unable to advance to the conference finals and that could change led by reigning MVP Nikola Jokic.
It would benefit the Nuggets to look for some more depth in the backcourt, especially with Jamal Murray sidelined with a knee injury.
As for the Rockets, they seem to have a centerpiece player to build around. Jalen Green has looked strong over us for a couple of weeks in the league after being drafted second overall in this year’s draft.
