The storyline that we are referring to is Kristaps Porzingis. This is not the first time that he has been mentioned in a blockbuster deal because of disgruntled feelings. Dallas has been eliminated in the first round of the postseason by the Los Angeles Clippers each of the last two years.
After a game seven loss, Porzingis might have been unhappy with his role next to Luka Doncic. The Maverick sign their superstar to an extension this offseason could be used as a trade piece if he wants to move on.
