Los Angeles Clippers
Paul George has been fantastic to begin the season for the Los Angeles Clippers, but without Kawhi Leonard, this team’s upside is limited at the moment.
There is no doubt that they can make the playoffs and still be a threat in the Western Conference, but without Kawhi Leonard, this team is going to struggle against some of the better teams in the league.
Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris Sr., and Eric Bledsoe are three of their key secondary talents next to George, but can the Clippers really feel confident with these guys being their “second scorer” night-in and night-out?
Los Angeles is certainly going to be looking to make a move this season and going after Eric Gordon is not a bad idea whatsoever.

He has continued to prove that he can produce off-the-bench and that is where the Clippers are really lacking talent right now. Luke Kennard and Terance Mann are their only real offensive threats off-the-bench and with a shortened rotation without Kawhi, Mann will sometimes be thrown into a starter’s role for this team.
Moving either Morris or Kennard for Eric Gordon would result in the Los Angeles Clippers taking on a non-favorable contract, but getting a more polished and proven offensive player.

Gordon has proven time and time again that he can play next to All-Star talents in this league and he was successful next to James Harden in Houston, so there is no reason why he cannot continue to be an offensive threat next to guys like Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, that is when Kawhi returns to the court sometime in 2022.
