Everything Is Coming Together For The Charlotte Hornets

All-around, there really are not many flaws with this Charlotte Hornets team and when Terry Rozier returns from his ankle injury, they will be in even better shape as one of the best offensive teams in the league.

“This team has fight,” Hornets head coach James Borrego stated after his team’s tough overtime loss to the Celtics on Monday night. “Obviously, this team belongs. We’re not backing down from anybody. We’re not going anywhere.”

While they have started the season great, we will really get to see what the Hornets are made of over the next few weeks, as five of their next nine games are against teams who made the playoffs last season and seven of their next nine games are on the road.

Playing nine, ten, sometimes even eleven guys deep at times, the Charlotte Hornets have an advantage over other teams in this league because of their depth and youth.

While most teams in the league will rest their star players in the second-leg of back-to-backs, the Hornets are “all systems go” for every single game during the regular season, giving them the most time to play with one another and continuing building on their early-season success.

They may be one of the youngest teams in the league with an average age of 24.33 years old, but this Hornets team is really well-balanced and they are all focused on team success rather than individual play.

There is no doubt that they can continue to be a successful team in the Eastern Conference this season and make the playoffs, but does this team have what it takes to win a playoff series?

We are only four games into the year for Charlotte, so it is a little hard to answer this question right now, but by the looks of it, they can definitely give any team in this league a run for their money.

LaMelo Ball has been one of the best point guards in the league this season, Miles Bridges has emerged as one of the best wing scorers in the league and with a ton of other young, rising talent in P.J. Washington, Cody Martin, Jalen McDaniels, and others, the only direction this Hornets organization can go is up!
