Would this trade make sense for the Golden State Warriors?
The Golden State Warriors can afford to send Andrew Wiggins away for a return. He has been a strange fit since coming to town and that is especially true with Thompson returning.
Last season, Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. were viewed as the team’s trade pieces. With Oubre Jr. gone, that means the Warriors could complete the process here.
When looking at the return, a first-round pick could be the biggest intrigue. There are some players that could add some depth but nothing significant to swing the team either way.
Golden State is looking forward to having its dynamic duo back together along the perimeter and this should keep them in the hunt. Favors and Williams are depth pieces that add even more of a veteran presence to the lineup.

The Warriors have plenty along the perimeter and there is not much of a role for Wiggins moving forward.
Wiggins showed enough to add some value around his name, especially for a team like Oklahoma City. This is a chance for the Warriors to take advantage of a potential trade piece in order to reshape the lineup for a postseason run.
