Would this trade make sense for the Oklahoma City Thunder?
The Oklahoma City Thunder might have checked off the first priority on their list. This is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander signing to an extension and now, Presti can work on putting pieces around him. This could start with Andrew Wiggins from Golden State.
Andrew Wiggins is a former No. 1 overall pick but has been unable to find a consistent home in the league. He has been moved frequently and could be looking for that steady home.
There might be a chance on a rebuilding team looking for some more help moving forward. That is certainly what the Thunder are looking like. With Gilgeous-Alexander in place, Wiggins would be put next to him in order to build that backcourt for the future.
Wiggins still has plenty to be excited about and would thrive in a bigger role moving forward. Oklahoma City can offer that next to their franchise point guard.
