The NBA offseason is always filled with key players heading to new teams on new contracts, but we also tend to see a lot of players signing new contracts with the teams they currently play for.

Contract extensions have become a major part of how money flows in the NBA and there were some key players to sign extensions in the offseason. 

Luka Doncic, Trae Young, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Robert Williams all signed extensions off of their current rookie deals and along with them, key veterans around the league in Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, Julius Randle, Marcus Smart, and others also signed big-time contract extensions to remain in their current situations long-term.
