Sacramento Kings Receive: C Myles Turner, F Jeremy Lamb
Indiana Pacers Receive: G Buddy Hield, 2022 First Round Pick Swap
The Indiana Pacers have been looking to trade Myles Turner for a while now. In this hypothetical deal, they finally find a taker for him in the Sacramento Kings.
Turner is joined on his trip west with Jeremy Lamb, another player that the Pacers were looking to move this offseason. To acquire them, the Kings are parting ways with their player they are looking to move in Buddy Hield.
Hield has been on the trade block for a while himself. He was almost traded to the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason, but the deal fell through at the last minute when Los Angeles pivoted to a deal with the Washington Wizards that landed, Russell Westbrook.
Hield will help Indiana improve their 3-point shooting. They lost Doug McDermott in the offseason, who signed with the San Antonio Spurs in free agency. Hield is a volume shooter but knocks them down with efficiency as a 40.6 percent career shooter from distance.

The Indiana Pacers could also move up in the 2022 NBA Draft with the pick swap from the Kings. That draft pick could become a valuable asset, especially if the Kings miss the playoffs again.
