Sacramento Kings Receive: G/F Ben Simmons
Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G Davion Mitchell, G Buddy Hield, 2022 First-Round Pick, 2023 First-Round Pick Swap
There is a lot of excitement from the Sacramento Kings when it comes to their upcoming season. The team has added another intriguing lottery pick in the form of Davion Mitchell, but regardless, a massive playoff drought remains.
What better way to end a playoff drought than to land an established All-Star? The main one available is Ben Simmons, who still needs to be moved by the Philadelphia 76ers.
It has felt almost as though the Kings and Hield have not seen eye-to-eye since he signed his contract extension. Hie was almost traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in the offseason and would be on the move (for real this time) to the 76ers.
Hield is not enough to intrigue the 76ers into making a potential trade involving Simmons. In fact, hardly any team truly would have a player that meets such a mark when considering Philadelphia’s desire is to land a player like Damian Lillard or Bradley Beal.

Davion Mitchell would need to be included, especially since the Kings are unwilling to listen to deals that include De’Aaron Fox or Tyrese Haliburton.
How would this deal impact both teams involved? Let’s take a look at it from each team’s perspective, starting with the Kings.
