Since NBA superstar LeBron James departed Cleveland in the summer of 2018, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been finding ways to once again build themselves into a playoff threat in the Eastern Conference.

The last time they were in the playoffs without James on their roster was in 1998, so to say it has been a long-time for the Cavs on their own is an understatement!

Over the years though, Cleveland has started to put together one of the better foundations in the league and they could be getting ready to finally take the next step as a franchise.

Collin Sexton and Darius Garland make up one of the better backcourt duos in the league and with other young talents Jarrett Allen, Isaac Okoro, Lauri Markkanen, and now Evan Mobley next to them, Cavs fans actually have something to finally be happy about.

In fact, Garland seems to think that the Cavaliers can make the playoffs this year and make some noise across the league! This team is not far off from becoming relevant again, but they could look to make a big move at some point, hence why they have shown interest in Ben Simmons.

Trade rumors pertaining to Ben Simmons have been flying off the shelves lately and even though they made him available shortly after losing in the postseason last season, the 76ers are still looking to move the 3x All-Star.

With Simmons holding out still and the 76ers getting ready to begin the 2021-22 season, nobody really knows what is going to happen, but the Sixers are running out of time.

If they want to capitalize on their All-Star’s value right now, then they need to make a move to trade him, but at the same time, they have to make sure they are getting a great return.

Cleveland may not have the best deal to offer in terms of All-Star potential and championship pedigree, but there are a few assets that they could offer the Philadelphia 76ers in hopes to get a deal done.
