Best Trade Destination No. 1: Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers have their point guard causing some waves in Ben Simmons. So, why not just swap point guards for each other with Kyrie Irving landing in Philadelphia with the Brooklyn Nets landing Simmons?
The Nets would love to have the defensive versatility that Simmons offers. They would likely accept this trade in a heartbeat should it be on the table.
This is the kind of situation that Irving might be open to being traded to. The 76ers are a good fit for him schematically, as they are desperate for a perimeter scoring threat to pair with Joel Embiid. They would be a deadly combination in pick-and-roll and pick-and-pop scenarios.
The 76ers are legitimate title contenders, which could entice Irving enough to report. He would get to play the Brooklyn Nets four times a season, something else that might motivate him to be accepting of a deal.

Philadelphia is also without a mandate currently, so Irving would be eligible for all 82 regular-season games should he be healthy enough to play. There aren’t many teams in the NBA that would be a good fit and seemingly willing to take on Irving that are legitimate title contenders.
