1. Celtics win a playoff series
The Boston Celtics are just one year removed from an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Last season was full of struggles and strange fits. This is what the front office hopes that they have fixed heading into the regular season. If they have, the Celtics should return to being a winner.
Boston is one of the intriguing teams in the Eastern Conference. They ran into the Nets in the first round last season and this is not an ideal situation. There are a couple of teams near the top that the Celtics want to avoid in round one and the Nets are at the top of the list.
With Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown back to leading the way with deeper point guard play, the Celtics seem to have it all in line. The frontcourt is still a bit weak but Boston will have to make up for that in ways. It will be interesting to see if Stevens feels the need to make a deadline move to improve.

This is all depending on how the first half of the season plays out. Either way, the Celtics should be a postseason team and they know how to advance once there.
