Key Talents Around NBA Who Still Need Change Of Scenery Via Trade

The 2021-22 NBA season is set to tip-off in three weeks and there are a lot of new faces in new places.

Russell Westbrook joined the Los Angeles Lakers to form a “Big 3” with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Kyle Lowry joined the Miami Heat to form a “Big 3” with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, and both Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan joined the Chicago Bulls to form a “Big 4” with Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic. 

A ton of other key talents also joined a new team this offseason, setting the 2021-22 season up for a lot of very close games all year long.

There are at least ten teams in the league that you can point to and make a case for them being a championship contender this season and outside of the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Houston Rockets, almost every other team in the league can make a real case for being a playoff team.

Of course, things are going to change during the season and we will see other key talents on the move to new teams. The NBA trade deadline always shakes things up in the league, but there are plenty of guys who could be on the move before the deadline this year.
