3 Stars To Monitor As Potential Targets For New York Knicks

New York Knicks, NBA Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

Last season was a big success for the New York Knicks, even though they lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Atlanta Hawks, and the 2021-22 NBA season has a chance to be even better for the Knicks given their successful offseason.

While they did end up losing Reggie Bullock, the Knicks brought in Evan Fournier, Kemba Walker, and rookies Quentin Grimes, Miles McBride, and Jericho Sims, as well as bringing back Derrick Rose, Alec Burks, Nerlens Noel, and Taj Gibson.

New York is going to be one of the better defensive teams in the league once again, as they ranked 3rd in defensive rating last year, but their recent additions of Walker and Fournier should make them a much better offensive team as well, as they ranked just 23rd in offensive rating last season.

With a starting unit now consisting of Walker, Barrett, Fournier, Randle, and Robinson (if healthy), the Knicks have a really diverse group of multi-talented scorers, as well as a bench full of experienced guys in Rose, Noel, Gibson, Burks, Quickley, and others.
