3 Teams Who Should Monitor Kyrie Irving Trade

The Brooklyn Nets could have quite a conundrum on their hands this NBA season. Their superstar point guard, Kyrie Irving, could miss significant time with the team given the vaccination mandates that have been put in by the state of New York.

It is the same situation that the Golden State Warriors are in with Andrew Wiggins. San Francisco and New York City both mandate that all New York Knicks, Nets and Warriors need to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to practice or play in home games.

Irving conducted his media session via Zoom in accordance with the league rules. He declined any questions about his vaccine status and will be keeping that private. He said that everything will be released at a due date when things are cleared up.

This is going to be a difficult situation for everyone to handle. If he remains unvaccinated, he will not be allowed to take part in any events with the Nets held in New York City. That means he would miss at least 41 regular-season games and any postseason games that are held at Barclays Center.

Here are three teams who should monitor an Irving trade with the Nets should the team look into trading him.
