Would this trade make sense for the Minnesota Timberwolves?

The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the worst teams in the league and has been for years now. This franchise does not seem to have a direction and that is what needs to change right away. That direction can be rebuilt by sending away their big names, beginning with Towns.

When looking at the return, this might be enough for Minnesota to pull the trigger. Terry Rozier would join the backcourt and give the Timberwolves another scorer.

The Timberwolves might choose to move either D’Angelo Russell or Malik Beasley and this is where Rozier could be a replacement. They would also get some other pieces down low such as Washington and Jones.

Along with draft capital, this return will check all the boxes for a rebuilding team looking to head in a new direction. There would be plenty of intriguing options to add talent around Anthony Edwards.
