Would this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?
Since the Indiana Pacers traded Victor Oladipo at the beginning of the season, they have been involved in other rumors. It remains hard to believe that Domantas Sabonis or Malcolm Brogdon would be moved at any point given their standing with the team.
One player who routinely is thought of as a trade option for the Pacers could leave Turner as the odd man out of the equation. There were plenty of discussions between Indiana and other teams during the offseason but a deal did not quite come to fruition.
When looking at the return, the Pacers would be able to get rid of Turner’s contract for some low-risk options. Kelly Oubre Jr. can slot in as an athletic small-ball power forward alongside Sabonis, especially while TJ Warren remains sidelined.
Ultimately, this will free up some cap space for the Pacers to make other moves down the road. Caris LeVert was brought in last season and will be the new focal point moving forward. This gives the Pacers plenty of options on offense to rely on.

Indiana has a chance to return to the postseason this year if all goes right. The front office usually pushes the right buttons so if the right offer is made for Turner, they will likely pull the trigger.
