Would this trade make sense for the Charlotte Hornets?

The Charlotte Hornets have been an unbalanced team for a couple of years now. Cody Zeller is gone and the frontcourt continued to be a huge point of emphasis heading into the offseason.

Charlotte has made a couple of moves to approve the unit but is in need of that impact performer down low. That is exactly what Myles Turner could be in the rotation. His offensive game is improving and it would help to have a dynamic set of guards at the top.

Turner would be the focal point down low on both ends of the floor for Charlotte. The Hornets added Kai Jones on draft night when they made a trade with the New York Knicks.

Turner would be able to help the next generation improve quickly with his defensive prowess — showing a ‘lead by example’ impact for Jones to learn from. Having an elite rim protector like Turner could help the Hornets to improve significantly in the short term.
