The start of the 2021-22 NBA season is rapidly approaching and each year the topic of the next potential breakout player is a hot one to debate.

We can always rank teams and look at who has the best chance of winning a title, but one thing that always goes unnoticed is players that could wind up having major breakout seasons. 

Last year, we saw Julius Randle, Jaylen Brown, Zach LaVine, Mike Conley Jr., and Zion Williamson have a breakout, first-time All-Star seasons, but we also saw guys like Michael Porter Jr., Christian Wood, Jerami Grant, and De’Aaron Fox emerge as key talents for their respective teams. 

The 2021-22 season is going to be no different in terms of guys having breakout seasons and we could wind up seeing quite a bit of new names jump into the conversation for being top talents in the NBA to watch for many years to come.
