NBA players get all the credit for their team’s success, but when the team is not doing so well, the head coach is always the “cop-out” person to blame.

Head coaches in the NBA do not get enough credit for what they do, even though their job is not as “hands-on” as collegiate coaches, but the best teams in the league usually have really strong head coaches.

In this time span, he has seen a plethora of players come and go from his roster, yet he has been instrumental in helping the Spurs raise five NBA Championship banners and six Western Conference Championship banners.
