Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: C Myles Turner
Sacramento Kings Receive: G/F Jeremy Lamb, MIA 2022 2nd Round Pick (via IND)

This would definitely be an intriguing trade scenario involving Myles Turner for the Indiana Pacers. Quite honestly, this is probably the best return for them out of the three trade packages.

Turner is a defensive star, as he has led the league in blocks two different seasons, but his role on this team has been minimal.

Myles Turner is not much of a factor offensively, which is why they would be smart to trade him while his value is at its highest.

Moving Turner in a three-team deal to get back Darius Bazley, Derrick Favors, and Tristan Thompson brings in three guys who can contribute right away for the Pacers, and they also get a first-round pick that should convey over in 2023.

Both Thompson and Favors provide immediate depth in the Pacers’ frontcourt, one of the weaknesses of their team outside of their starters, and Darius Bazley is only 21-years-old, giving the Pacers a young to possibly utilize moving forward.

Tristan Thompson is only under contract for the 2021-22 season, meaning the Pacers would not be tied down to him long-term, and Derrick Favors has a $10M player option for the 2022-23 season, so Indiana would not be tied down to him long-term either.

Darius Bazley is still under his rookie contract for two more seasons, and the Pacers have a $3.6M TPE from trading Aaron Holiday they could use to absorb his contract.

In terms of trading Myles Turner and Jeremy Lamb, this is a terrific return for the Indiana Pacers that would give them the depth they need to contend in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

With the Nets, Bucks, 76ers, and Heat also being true contenders, it may be hard for Indiana to crack through, but this trade certainly gives them more overall value than keeping Myles Turner.
