The Los Angeles Clippers have been busy revamping their backcourt this NBA offseason. Reggie Jackson is the only player returning to the team for the 2020-21 season who played minutes at the point guard position in the postseason.

Patrick Beverley, who has been the team’s starting point guard for the better part of the last three seasons, is no longer with the team. He was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies and Rajon Rondo and Daniel Oturu in exchange for Eric Bledsoe.

Neither Beverley nor Rondo stayed in Memphis long. Beverley was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves while Rondo was bought out and signed with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The team also added three players to their backcourt in the 2021 NBA Draft. Keon Johnson, who was the No. 21 overall selection, was acquired in a trade with the New York Knicks.
