3 Trade Targets For Portland Trail Blazers Entering Training Camp

While they did make some additions to their roster this offseason, the Portland Trail Blazers were definitely one of the biggest losers of the 2021 NBA offseason because of the rumors surrounding Damian Lillard.

As of right now, Dame is committed to staying in Portland and trying to win with the Blazers, but there was heavy speculation back in June and July that he could look to request a trade in order to go to a team that has a chance to win a championship.

Since entering the league in 2012, Portland has always seemed to find their way into the playoffs, but they have advanced to the Western Conference Finals just once in 2019, only to get swept by the Golden State Warriors.

The Trail Blazers really have not had a team that could contend for a title, which is why Damian Lillard could be frustrated with the Trail Blazers front office.

If they do not improve this year and be more of a contender than they have been in previous years, Damian Lillard could look to move elsewhere in the offseason, which is why Neil Olshey and this Blazers front office needs to add some more talent to their roster.

Cody Zeller, Tony Snell, Ben McLemore, and Larry Nance Jr. are all solid additions this offseason, but the Blazers could still use some more bench options to make their second-unit stronger.
