NBA training camps begin on September 28, leading up to the 2021-22 season. There are plenty of players that will be looking to earn guaranteed contracts for the season.

Some players currently have non-guaranteed or partially-guarantee clauses on their contracts, and then some players recently signed training camp deals. 

Most of these players are first or second-year players looking to earn a spot in this league, but there are plenty of well-known players looking to earn actual roster spots with 1 of the 30 teams in the NBA for the 2021-22 season through training camp.

These players include Harry Giles, Patrick Patterson, Dennis Smith Jr., Tacko Fall, Stanley Johnson, Marquese Chriss, and many more.

Players on Exhibit-10 Contracts are also looking to earn a roster spot, as the contracts they signed are basically the same as “training camp invites.”

With teams allowed to carry 20 players on their roster into training camp, there is always competition for those last few roster spots as teams cut their roster down to 15 players before starting a new season.
