We said these trade scenarios would be crazy, so seeing a five-team trade should not surprise you.
Again, much like the Brooklyn Nets deal, that trade is not going to happen. Still, in terms of value coming back, the 76ers would get the All-Star talent they want for Ben Simmons in Pascal Siakam, they would get a solid veteran in Nic Batum, and they would add future value with Keon Johnson and three draft picks.
When you look at the other teams involved in this deal, the Clippers would not say no, even though they lose almost all of their draft picks through 2028, the Mavericks likely would not say no. Since the Thunder are getting a future first-round draft pick, they would be in as well, but the kicker here is the Toronto Raptors.
Nobody knows what is on the minds of the Raptors right now, as they lost Kyle Lowry in the offseason and could be anywhere from a team picking in the draft lottery in 2022 to a first-round playoff team. If Toronto wants to add future value, then trading Pascal Siakam could be a route they go, just maybe not in this trade.

They really do not require a veteran player on a big deal like Marcus Morris, and while they would receive six total draft picks in this multi-team trade, three of said picks are second-rounders.
Maybe Zubac, Kleber, and the first-round picks they get are enough to trade Siakam, but if the Raptors are going to look to move their All-Star, it is safe to assume they would look to do so to try and land Ben Simmons on their own without the other three teams in this deal.

The more teams you add to a trade, the more complicated things get with draft picks and salaries equaling out, but overall, this crazy trade scenario actually makes a lot of sense for almost all the teams involved in terms of getting what they need to either be their best this season or moving forward.
