How This Trade Impacts The Bucks
There is virtually zero percent chance that this trade would be accepted by the Milwaukee Bucks. Something catastrophic would have to occur for them to even entertain trading away Jrue Holiday at this stage and breaking up their championship core.
This trade would leave the Bucks without a starting point guard on their roster. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton are solid playmakers, but in a secondary role, not as the lead playmakers.
From that point alone, this deal would be a no-go. Given the current makeup of their roster, Andrew Wiggins doesn’t have a spot to slide into as easily as Holiday does with the Golden State Warriors. Wiggins could be the starting small forward, possibly pushing Donte DiVincenzo to the bench or as a quasi-point guard.
Jordan Poole is a solid combo guard but is better suited coming off the bench to help bolster the second unit. Jonathan Kuminga is an intriguing piece to get back.

Kuminga has some star potential should he develop his game successfully. But, he is likely destined to play power forward once it is all said and done. That isn’t a position the Bucks will have to worry about for a long time with Antetokounmpo entrenched there.
The future first-round pick is nice but likely to be very late in the round. The Warriors will be contending for championships for a few more years in this scenario in which they land Holiday in a trade.

There is just no reason the Bucks would look to make a deal like this other than having to propose something in the exercise they were doing at Bleacher Report.
