Washington Wizards Receive: C Mo Bamba, G Michael Carter-Williams, IND 2022 2nd Round Pick (via ORL)
Orlando Magic Receive: F Davis Bertans, F Anthony Gill
The Washington Wizards ended up being one of the more silently busy teams during this offseason, as they completely flipped their roster around Bradley Beal. Rui Hachimura, Deni Avdija, and Davis Bertans remain, for now.
Still, the Wizards moved Russell Westbrook and some other pieces to acquire Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell, Spencer Dinwiddie, Aaron Holiday, and rookie Isaiah Todd.
They also drafted Corey Kispert with the 15th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and re-signed veteran guard Raul Neto to a one-year deal.
On paper, this Wizards team seems like it should be better, seeing as they finally have depth, but their frontcourt is still puzzling. Rui Hachimura is a solid young talent, but Daniel Gafford, Montrezl Harrell, and especially Thomas Bryant have questions surrounding their upside.

Adding another young big man could be an idea the Wizards entertain, especially since they could still look to move either Harrell or Bryant before or during the upcoming season.
Davis Bertans is a player they were rumored to be shopping around in the offseason, and seeing as he is owed $65M over the next four years, Washington would be smart to move him now.
Bertans has shot 40.7% from deep over the course of his now five-year NBA career, so the Wizards would appear to be losing some outside shooting, but the addition of KCP, Kuzma, and Kispert will still keep them as a solid perimeter shooting team. As for Orlando, Bertans will cost them quite a bit over the next few years, but they can afford to bring him in, and he is only 28-years-old.

Orlando needs another shooter on the perimeter, and Davis Bertans really is not that old of a player, which is why he could fit in well with the Magic.
This trade really does depend on whether or not the Orlando Magic are willing to take on Bertans contract, though, especially since both Bamba and MCW are expiring deals.
