Pascal Siakam
There have been some talks about the Toronto Raptors looking to trade Pascal Siakam this offseason. A few teams have been in contact with the Raptors and those rumors got even louder when Toronto used the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft on Florida State power forward, Scottie Barnes.
If Siakam is truly on the block, the Portland Trail Blazers should get in on the action. Despite acquiring Larry Nance Jr. recently, Siakam would further boost the team’s ceiling.
Adding the former All-Star to the mix could keep Nance on the bench, where he provides the most value as a combo big man. He can play alongside any of the other frontcourt players on the roster, giving Chauncey Billups a lot of versatility and potential lineup combinations.
Siakam would provide the team with a two-way player, something they need more of. Inserting him into a lineup alongside Norman Powell and Robert Covington would give Portland three very good defenders to help balance out the team.

Their offense shouldn’t suffer too much with Siakam either. He has developed into a good scorer, averaging 21.4 points per game this season after a career-high 22.9 the season before. If he can get his 3-point shooting back on track, a career season could be on tap.
