James Ennis III – Previous Team: Orlando Magic

One of the more underrated NBA free agents still available who will almost definitely ink a contract before the start of training camp is James Ennis III, who has spent the last season and a half in Orlando.

The 31-year-old forward brings a lot to the table in terms of not only being a versatile player that can play multiple positions, but with 7-years of experience under his belt, James Ennis is a guy who knows what it takes to win and can play his role perfectly.

He has also shot 36% from deep over the course of his career, making James Ennis a really solid bench player for contending teams to target. “3-and-D” is the emphasis on Ennis in this league and while he is 31-years-old, he is a guy who can definitely step up in a big role off the bench for a playoff team.

While he only played in 41 games last season due to injuries, James Ennis is definitely worth a minimum contract, especially for a team like the Lakers. Los Angeles has done a great job of assembling a high-level, championship roster in the offseason, but they could still use some more depth on the wing behind LeBron James.
