Denzel Valentine – Previous Team: Chicago Bulls

With plenty of teams passing up on him this offseason and Denzel Valentine still being a free agent, the former lottery pick could very well end up remaining a free agent at the start of the 2021-22 season.

It is quite surprising to see him still available, but at the same time, Valentine did struggle last year.

Valentine only averaged 6.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and shot just 33.1% from three-point range on the wing, which is below average for his position, and overall, he can be a liability at times on defense. This has likely resulted in Valentine remaining unsigned to this point, but he is still worth a training camp invite at the least.

He’s going to be turning 28-years-old this year and Denzel Valentine did have a really solid 2017-18 season a few years back, but his options in the NBA seem very bleak at this point.

It will be interesting to see if Valentine gets another chance in this league or if he will end up playing overseas.
