Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets are one of the few true contenders in the NBA heading into the 2021-22 season. Any roster with Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving is well-positioned to win a championship, but there are still some tweaks that could be done to the roster.
The team could use some help in the middle. During the playoffs, Jeff Green and Blake Griffin were playing a lot of center, with Nicolas Claxton chipping in as well. With LaMarcus Aldridge forced into retirement and DeAndre Jordan removed from the rotation, there wasn’t much else to turn to.
Adding a player of Myles Turner’s caliber would put the Nets over the top. He would give the team a reliable veteran in the middle, something they currently don’t have. Jordan isn’t expected to be with the team much longer and the only other centers they have are Claxton and rookie Day’Ron Sharpe.
Turner’s presence defensively would likely make the Nets clear-cut favorites for the title. Defense is the one area the team struggled in at times but Turner would help turn that around.

His ability to stretch the floor would help open things up even more for the Nets’ offensive stars to attack the paint with fewer defenders there able to help.
