The Golden State Warriors have a chance to get back to the top of the Western Conference if all goes right this season. It will depend on the health of their backcourt and the pieces that they are bringing in.

The Warriors have suffered some down years because of injuries and getting healthy, along with a potential big man, could help make a run. Klay Thompson is the big piece that is going to get healthy this season. He missed the previous two years with injuries and this had severe ramifications on the success of the Warriors.

With Thompson back in the lineup, the Warriors will have their full backcourt back. Stephen Curry led the league in scoring and could be ready to compete for another title.

LaMarcus Aldridge is a veteran big that would bring depth and leadership to the frontcourt. James Wiseman is entering his second year in the league and could learn from a player like Aldridge.

If he is able to remain on the floor, Aldridge would benefit the Warriors right away. The two sides have not been linked much but the Warriors could end up being a surprise team in the market for Aldridge.
