The Miami Heat have been busy this NBA offseason. They have been a team that is used to big moves and have been linked to many players over the last year. In this deal, they would not be the team acquiring the centerpiece but it was still benefit them in many ways.
Instead, this is a deal where the Orlando Magic will be getting another piece in the backcourt. The Magic decided to blow things up at the NBA trade deadline and send away their stars in deals. This sent the franchise in a rebuild build around the young backcourt. That only continued during this year’s draft.
