Indiana Pacers
There was talk of the Pacers potentially looking to add Eric Gordon ahead of the 2021 NBA Draft since the Rockets were looking to acquire another first-round draft pick, but trade talks between Indiana and Houston seemed to settle down immensely since then. This does not mean though that Indiana is not still interested in Eric Gordon.
The Pacers have a really solid roster entering the 2021-22 season, but they still seem to be missing some key contributors in their second-unit. Injuries have really hurt this team over the years and if they continue to deal with injuries, they will need reliable bench options to help carry some of the load on both ends of the court.
Eric Gordon is this kind of player and would be a really strong addition for the Pacers, even though he would cost them quite a bit. Right now, Indiana is under the tax line for next season and if they were to make a trade for Gordon, they would most likely be exceeding this line, which is not ideal for a team that did not make the playoffs last season and has not been close to contending for a title.

Overall though, Gordon is a three-point shooting threat and a versatile defender on the perimeter that could be a much better asset than the likes of Jeremy Lamb.
Indiana is interested in moving Lamb, so maybe they can work something out to dump his contract and add Gordon instead, that is if they can make the financials work in their favor.
