#10 Wesley Matthews – Previous Team: Los Angeles Lakers

Wesley Matthews will be turning 35-years-old in October, but this should not deter teams from adding him as a veteran wing.

He only averaged 4.8 points and 1.6 rebounds last season with the Lakers, but the veteran shooting guard has proven that he can be a reliable “3-and-D” of player, especially since he has averaged 37.9% from deep over the course of his career. 

For a minimum contract, Wesley Matthews is definitely worth the investment for championship contending teams looking to add some more depth. Maybe he will not play much, but having Matthews as the 13th, 14th or 15th guy on your bench is a very strong look. 

#9 Jeff Teague – Previous Team: Milwaukee Bucks

A former All-Star, Jeff Teague is nearing the end-of-the-line in his career, but is coming off a season in which he helped the Bucks win an NBA title. He was not the starting point guard and held a very minimal role with this Bucks team, but at the end of the day, he still gets a ring and helped them at points in the regular season and postseason.

For his career, Teague has averaged 12.2 points, 5.6 assists, 1.1 steals and has shot 36% from three-point range, making him a key veteran point guard that teams with young guards could be interested in adding.

Like Wesley Matthews, contending teams could also be interested in Jeff Teague given his experiences as an All-Star and now an NBA champion.
