Would this trade make sense for the Sacramento Kings?
The Sacramento Kings need all the help they can get. This offseason, there have been plenty of NBA trade rumors about the team selling. That would not be the worst idea considering where they have finished in recent years. Harrison Barnes could be near the top of the list because he is one of the older players who is not part of the future.
That is the main benefit. The Kings should be looking to move any player that they do not see sticking around long term. Barnes has two years left on his contract and it would be surprising to see him finish that tenure in Sacramento. When looking at the return, this deal should be a no-brainer.
Bertans signed a contract with the Wizards last season but was reduced to a bench role. He is a big that can shoot from anywhere on the floor. Kuzma is the main intrigue. He will welcome an extended role after being traded from the Lakers.
Kuzma can score at all three levels and has a chance to put up some big numbers as the focal point of an offense. That is what he would be with the Kings, along with Fox.

Sacramento should be looking to add some new, young players. That is what they would be doing in this deal and that is why it is a win for them right away.
