Every offseason there is a new crop of players that enter the NBA whether it be via the NBA Draft or players coming from overseas. Prospects are looking to catch the eyes of front offices around the league and latch on to rosters.
While people focus on that kind of player movement, it is easy to forget that there are also players losing jobs in the process. There aren’t 60+ players retiring every season from the NBA, but with a new crop of prospects coming each season, there are people that the league moves on from.
Fans will clamor for their favorite players to latch on with teams, but that does not always happen. Some veterans see their NBA careers end not by their choosing via retirement, but teams just no longer calling.
Each summer, we will see some of those veterans pop up in workout videos or Pro-Ams looking like they could get back in the league. Or, after a stint overseas, are ready to contribute to an NBA team again.

This offseason we have seen that occur multiple times. Jamal Crawford and Isaiah Thomas have been putting on shows in Seattle at Crawford’s Pro-Am, the CrawsOver. Monta Ellis is attempting another NBA comeback this offseason, while Lance Stephenson is looking to get back into the league as well.
Let’s take a look at what these four guys could bring to an NBA team and who might be interested in giving him a look.
