Avery Bradley – Free Agent

Avery Bradley was also a member of the Houston Rockets last season with D.J. Augustin, but they decided to decline his team option for the 2021-22 season, making him a free agent.

It is kind of surprising that no contending team has wanted to sign Bradley, but the Dallas Mavericks absolutely should want to sign him because he has always been known to be a solid and eligible two-way player.

The 30-year-old combo-guard is going to be entering his 12th season in the league and has been known to be a little bit more of a reliable scorer than the likes of Augustin. For his career, Bradley has averaged 11.5 points, 1.8 assists and has shot 36.3% from deep.

The best part about Bradley’s game though is the fact that he limits turnovers and plays really strong perimeter defense, averaging a steal per game over the course of his career.

In their backcourt, the Mavs really do not have any ball-stoppers and reliable defenders alongside Luka Doncic, which is why signing Bradley to a minimum deal would make sense.
