5 late-offseason trade targets for NBA contenders to consider

We’ve already seen a handful of trades take place in the NBA since the start of the offseason. The most notable one came when the Los Angeles Lakers acquired Russell Westbrook from the Washington Wizards.

Beside the Westbrook trade, we’ve seen other trades or sign-and-trade scenarios happen in recent weeks. That doesn’t mean that other trades won’t happen before the 2021 season gets underway.

Most recently, the Los Angeles Clippers acquired Eric Bledsoe from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for a package headlined by Patrick Beverley and Rajon Rondo.

Teams have a decent understanding of where they want their rosters to be ahead of next season.
