Hamidou Diallo
The Detroit Pistons were one of the biggest winners of the offseason when the lottery balls fell their way, landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. They selected Oklahoma State point guard Cade Cunningham with the first overall pick, giving them yet another strong piece to add to their foundation.
Another player that could be a piece to that foundation is Hamidou Diallo. Hamidou Diallo was acquired last season by the Pistons from the Oklahoma City Thunder and played well. He showed an improved 3-point shot, something that would take his overall game to the next level.
Diallo is supremely athletic and uses that to his advantage offensively, attacking the rim relentlessly. He is also a great defender, standing 6’5” with a wingspan of 6’11”.
If he can improve his offensive consistency, Hamidou Diallo has the makings of an excellent two-way player. A team that has minutes to provide him on the wing that will allow him to continue developing his skill set while embracing what he does well would make for a perfect fit.

The Golden State Warriors would fit the bill, who have numerous veterans he could learn from but also have backup wing minutes he could soak up.
