Top Landing Spot For Key Free Agents: Hart, Cousins, Ntilikina, More

Free Agency
NBA Analysis Network

As we enter the second week of August, NBA free agency is beginning to wind down. The top free agents have all signed contracts, but there are still a few good players remaining on the free-agent market that can help teams win some games.

There are some restricted free agents available that are a bit surprising to still see on the market. Josh Hart entered free agency as one of the better two-way players but has yet to receive an offer from any teams. His teammate, Lonzo Ball, secured one of the first deals in free agency from the Chicago Bulls and landed there in a sign-and-trade deal.

Hamidou Diallo is another strong defender that is still available as well. The Detroit Pistons wing is a restricted free agent but can help teams with his offensive game improvement.

Jarred Vanderbilt, another restricted free agent, had some good showings with the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 2020-21 season. He would be a solid addition for any team looking for frontcourt depth.

Frank Ntilikina is another player that in the right situation can see his career take off. He is an excellent defender but his offensive game has yet to come around.
