2021 NBA Summer League Day 4 Review and Headlines

NBA Summer League

All good things must come to an end at some point and for me, Day 4 of NBA Summer League on Wednesday was my final day out in Las Vegas. However, my final day here featured some very intriguing matchups and some games that are definitely worth touching on.

A total of 7 games were played on Wednesday, beginning with a matchup between two Eastern Conference heavyweights in the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets. This game did feature some of this year’s draftees in Cameron Thomas (Nets), Sandro Mamukelashvili (Bucks) and Day’Ron Sharpe (Nets), among others as well, but two former Louisville Cardinals in Jordan Nwora and Steven Enoch stole the show in this game, which we will touch on shortly.

Day 4 continued after this Bucks-Nets showdown with a Top-5 pick showdown between Evan Mobley vs. Jalen Suggs, a rematch of the 2019 NBA Finals between the Raptors vs. Warriors and then the day finished with two of the NBA’s biggest fan bases in the Knicks and Lakers fighting it out in Thomas & Mack Center.

We will touch on some of the key performances and headlines from Day 4 in just a moment, but I do want to take a moment to say that this year’s NBA Summer League has been special. Plenty of guys, both young and old, have raised a lot of eyebrows out here and after not being able to have Summer League last year due to the pandemic, it was refreshing to actually be in an arena once again watching the future of the league!

NBA Summer League is one of the best events the NBA puts on every single year and having it out in Las Vegas definitely has its advantages for the patrons. There is no better feeling than walking into Thomas & Mack Center, as well as Cox Pavilion, to catch some of these Summer League games, so if you are an avid basketball fan and fan of the NBA, I highly recommend planning a family trip to Las Vegas in the future to witness this spectacle for yourself.

Enough ranting, let’s dive right in and take a look at what/who stood out on Day 4 of Las Vegas Summer League!
