Golden State Warriors
Over the past two seasons, the Golden State Warriors have missed out on the opportunity to play in the postseason. The absence of Klay Thompson has been detrimental to their success as Stephen Curry has been stuck trying to carry the bulk of the scoring.
Behind Curry, the Warriors don’t have a point guard that can create for himself and others, which has led to scoring droughts when the All-Star point guard heads to the bench.
With Thompson returning to the court next season, signing Isaiah Thomas to backup Curry wouldn’t be the worst idea. Golden State missed out on Mills, who signed with the Brooklyn Nets this offseason.
At the same time, they did add Otto Porter Jr., Nemanja Bjelica, and a familiar face in Andre Iguodala in free agency thus far.

As the Warriors intend to make a push for the playoffs in 2021-22, Thomas could be a cheap option that would give them a massive boost off of the bench when Curry needs a breather.
