What would the Oklahoma City Thunder have to lose by signing Isaiah Thomas this offseason? Oklahoma City is building a team that can have success in the future, which may make signing Thomas a questionable move to some.

While the Thunder allows guys like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Theo Maledon, and Tre Mann to develop, Thomas can be a much-needed scorer in certain moments.

Thomas doesn’t need to be a starter, but he could be utilized off of the bench on this Thunder team that is currently made up of inexperienced players.

If Thomas happens to struggle or continue having injury issues, then Oklahoma City would be able to easily move on from him without it costing them much.
